Kelso Building Services is seeking an energetic and customer-focused HVAC Outside Sales Representative to drive business growth across our commercial and industrial service markets. This position is ideal for someone with HVAC industry experience who enjoys connecting with customers, identifying opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to facility managers, property owners, and business operators by helping them improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of their HVAC systems. You'll work closely with service and operations teams to develop customized maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy-saving solutions that create value for our customers.

Position Responsibilities
Develop New Business Opportunities
Actively prospect for new customers, generate leads, and identify opportunities for HVAC service, maintenance agreements, system upgrades, equipment replacements, and energy efficiency improvements.

Consult With Customers
Meet with facility owners, property managers, building engineers, and business leaders to understand operational challenges and recommend practical HVAC solutions that align with their goals and budgets.

Create Proposals & Present Solutions
Prepare estimates, service agreements, and project proposals. Clearly communicate the benefits and value of recommended solutions while guiding customers through the decision-making process.

Manage Key Accounts
Maintain regular communication with existing customers, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities to expand service offerings and support long-term business partnerships.

Collaborate Across Departments
Partner with service managers, technicians, estimators, and project teams to ensure customer needs are accurately captured and successfully delivered.

Achieve Sales Objectives
Consistently work toward sales goals by growing territory revenue, developing new accounts, and supporting company growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC sales, HVAC service, refrigeration, facilities management, mechanical contracting, or a related field
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, maintenance programs, and mechanical services
• Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers and decision-makers
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Experience utilizing CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling HVAC maintenance agreements, repair services, retrofit projects, or equipment replacements
• Existing relationships within commercial real estate, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, cold storage, or facility management markets
• Familiarity with estimating, proposal development, and account management
