The University of Washington Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for an HVAC Mechanic to join their trades and facilities team.


POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • 100% FTE
  • Day Shift

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, modify, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration control systems. UWMC uses Johnson Controls systems and Metasys.

  • Fabricate and install temperature and humidity controls; assist with system design.

  • Use specialized tools for repair and calibration.

  • Manage inventory of control parts and components.

  • Perform related duties as assigned.


REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a four-year approved institution course as a Control Technician Trainee; OR four years of applicable experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic control systems.

  • Vocational or trade school training in control mechanisms may be substituted, year-for-year, for work experience up to a maximum of two years.

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$41.19 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$59.90 hourly
