Provides master
level work in the installation, maintenance, and service of Heating, Ventilation,
Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. Responsibilities include overseeing,
maintaining and repairing all District HVAC/R systems. Specific duties include
repairing, rebuilding and replacing bearings; operating centrifugal water
chillers and pumps; maintaining energy management systems; repairing variable
frequency drives; maintaining water treatment controllers, motors, heat
exchangers, air conditioning compressors, heating boilers, ventilation and air
conditioning systems; ordering and maintaining inventory. Additional duties include providing
leadership, coaching, teaching, mentoring and craft specific technical
guidance.
