Carrier Commercial Service is actively recruiting for an HVAC Journeyperson to join the team in Edmonton, Alberta
About the Role:
The successful candidate bring their HVAC system experience with proven problem solving capabilities to the role to support the light and heavy applied HVAC service market segments in Commercial and Industrial buildings. They will be a team player with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments and have excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain positive professional customer relations
Provide exceptional proactive maintenance and repair services for Chillers and other HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment
Support Centrifugal, Scroll equipment, multiple technologies, controls, and VSD systems
Support Carrier Factory (OEM) Field Mechanical Services for Startup and Warranty
Troubleshoot and solve equipment problems; Develop and implement solutions to prevent future occurrence
Confident identifying, estimating and quoting repair and upgrade solutions to extend equipment life and save energy
Comply and re-enforce Environment, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Basic Qualifications:
Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, Certified Journeyperson HVAC Technician
Licensed refrigeration (ODP) mechanic
Minimum 10 years of experience with HVAC systems
Must hold a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Gas B Ticket
Building Controls experience
