Carrier is actively recruiting for Journeyperson Technician to join the South Western Ontario Unitary Service Team based out of Stoney Creek, ON

The ideal candidate should be customer-focused with proven problem-solving skills. They will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain professional customer relations

• Provide equipment service and maintenance for existing customer base

• Promote Branch Work Order sales

• Comply with company Environment, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

• Recommend ways to reduce costs and eliminate unnecessary expenses

Basic Qualifications:

• Licensed HVAC Technician

• Member of Union Local 787, or eligible to become a member

• Gas Technician 1 certificate (Gas Technician 2 considered)

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC system service and maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid knowledge of Commercial HVAC & DDC systems

• Proven analytical and diagnostic skills

• Customer-focused with proven problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Team player

• Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments

• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
