Salary: $32.91 - 52.79 per hour plus benefits/Range 39

Contract Length/ Days: (2026-2027/ 260 Days; M-F 6:00 am � 2:30 pm)

Objective: The employee performs skilled work in the maintenance of heating and cooling systems in all district buildings. The emphasis is on troubleshooting, optimizing performance of equipment, installing new equipment and upgrading older equipment. Work is conducted with little supervision. Work methods and procedures usually are determined by the employee and results are assessed by the supervisor. The employee may supervise the work of a small number of employees.

Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to use good judgment and common sense. Ability to follow established safety practices. Ability to work independently and with others. Ability to read and interpret plans (blueprints). Excellent math skills. Ability to perform all functions of the position.

Work Environment/ Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods of time, numerous distractions, visual, auditory and ambulatory acuity important. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
