HVAC Instructor PT

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC/R ProgramThis is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of EducationThe primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R coursesThe typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required

• Certification:
  • HVAC
  • EPA Universal
  • NATE - not required but desired
  • Journeyman HVAC - not required but desired

• At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized, motivated and results-driven

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
