The Facilities Management Team creates, maintains, and continuously improves the William & Mary physical environment to enable excellence in teaching, research, and public service.
Assists in the maintenance and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems. (MAUs, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, FCUs and VAVs). Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related components (filter and belt replacements, electrical readings, amp draw readings, greasing bearings and mechanical components, evaporator and condenser coil cleanings, etc.) Assists senior mechanics with maintenance responsibilities; providing tools and parts necessary to repair HVAC systems. Provides critical field information to other HVAC mechanics and technicians -to facilitate repairs and troubleshooting of systems.
Hiring Salary: up to $45,000 commensurate with experience.
