Rentmeister Total Home Service is a family owned business who  is looking for an experienced HVAC Finisher to join our team!
What does an HVAC finisher do?
An HVAC finisher completes the final-stage installation of heating and cooling systems. They bridge the gap between rough construction and a fully operational system, taking on tasks like installing thermostats, grills, and registers, and performing the final electrical wiring, leak checks, and system startups.

Tasks/Responsibilities:
Trim and Accessory Installation: Mounting items like registers, grills, thermostats, exhaust fans, and air conditioning accessories.
System Commissioning: Charging the unit with refrigerant, checking for leaks, and completing electrical wire-ups to connect indoor and outdoor components.
Performance Testing: Running the system for the first time to verify it meets manufacturer specifications and making final adjustments.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing any minor installation or functional issues that pop up during this final phase.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring the installation is neat, visually clean, and functioning perfectly before the job is signed off. Prepare final job notes and paperwork. 

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Push, pull and lift to 50lbs
  • Interpret building codes and regulations as they relate to HVAC
  • Read  and interpret blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams
  • Work independently in the absence of supervision
  • Work closely with colleagues as part of an integrated team
  • Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks
  •  Communicate orally and in writing, understand and follow oral and written directions
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including office staff, builders and supers.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment
  • Recognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe work
  • Take responsibility for 100% inspection of the home in the final steps

Qualifications:  You must have previous new construction HVAC finisher experience. 
  • RMGA and EPA certifications are a plus!
  • Willing to work in all types of weather
  • Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the HVAC trade
  • Possess basic knowledge of computers and cell phone apps
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Rentmeister is a private employer and we do not accept Medical Marijuana cards
  • Must posses reliable transportation and have a clean driving record
Full time,  Mon-Fri, 7am-5 pm, Pay based on Experience
