Job Description
Job Bridge Global is actively seeking multiple HVAC Engineers to join our client's team in the UK to work on a huge Nuclear Power Station build. This role involves designing, installing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for various commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC design and implementation, a strong technical background, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems that meet client specifications, industry standards, and local codes.
- Conduct load calculations and system analysis to determine the optimal HVAC configurations for projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for HVAC projects using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure integration and efficiency of HVAC systems within building designs.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring all work is completed according to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related issues during and after installation.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers or technicians as needed.
- Develop energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions to reduce overall energy consumption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system design and implementation.
- Proficient in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, load calculations, and system optimization.
- Experience with energy-efficient HVAC technologies and sustainable practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Willingness to relocate to the UK for the position.
- Familiarity with UK building codes and regulations is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIBSE, ASHRAE) are desirable.
