A leading confectionery manufacturer in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, is hiring a full-time HVAC Engineer to manage and optimize climate control systems at its new production facility.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC system design, operation, and maintenance within the food or FMCG manufacturing sector. This role is essential to ensuring that production, packaging, and storage environments meet strict temperature and humidity requirements, contributing directly to product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain HVAC systems across production, processing, and warehouse areas.

• Monitor and control temperature, airflow, and humidity to support product integrity and manufacturing efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards (including GMP and food safety requirements).

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system diagnostics to reduce downtime and energy waste.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, maintenance, and production) to ensure environmental controls meet production demands and food safety requirements.

• Manage HVAC-related documentation, including technical drawings, maintenance logs, and performance reports.

• Support commissioning activities for HVAC systems in facility expansions or upgrades.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 35 years of experience in HVAC engineering, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, operation, and controls, including cleanroom or controlled environments.

• Familiarity with standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, and local UAE regulations.

• Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy efficiency practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and project management skills.

Salary Range:

AED 12,000 - 20,000
