Location: North West

Salary: £46k

Benefit: Car Allowance

This role is perfect for an experienced and dedicated HVAC Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing projects, and managing a team of engineers.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and manage the HVAC team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee all HVAC projects/ quoted works from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the HVAC team, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, techniques, and regulations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and manage the HVAC department budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
  • Track expenses and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure all HVAC work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies
  • Promote a culture of safety within the department, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC management or a similar role.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as HVAC design software,
    project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid HVAC certification
  • Full UK driving Licence
