HVAC StarPlus is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Technician to join our team in Wilmington, NC.

Our technicians are the heart of our business. They represent our company on every job site through their technical expertise, professionalism, reliability, and commitment to doing the job right. We are looking for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work, provides exceptional customer service, and builds lasting relationships with our customers and clients.

All local work – No overnight or out-of-town travel!

Responsibilities

· Service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

· Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment

· Perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems

· Respond to emergency service calls at commercial job sites

· Read and interpret commercial wiring diagrams, equipment schematics, and controls

· Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions

· Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate job details effectively

· Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing HVAC StarPlus

· Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures on every job

Qualifications

· Previous experience in commercial HVAC or a related field· Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills· EPA Universal Certification· Clean driving record· Strong organizational and time-management skills· Excellent communication and customer service skills· Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers· Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills· Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently· Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the job
