In this role, you’ll work with modern, computer-controlled Building Automation Systems (BAS) to support large campus HVAC systems - adjusting temperature settings and schedules, calibrating DDC components, and troubleshooting and repairing controls. You’ll also take part in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.

Work Hours:
Provided with this position Tools, full uniform, steel-toed shoes, all necessary safety equipment (PPE), County-issued phone, County-issued vehicle, and a laptop while at work
Minimum Qualifications:
Skilled Trades Worker II: Starting Pay: $22.14 (Step 1) Potential higher pay (steps) for those with multiple years of experience.
Skilled Trades Worker III: Starting Pay: $24.42 (Step 1) Potential higher pay (steps) for those with multiple years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
CJIS Clearance: **The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
