Shift Overview
•Monday - Thursday, four 10-hour days 6:00am-4:30pm

The Brazier is responsible for building and preparing specialized Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) systems that power aircraft equipment on the ground. This role combines hands-on assembly with HVAC and brazing work, playing a crucial part in aviation infrastructure worldwide. Expect a team-oriented setting where technical skills meet continuous improvement.

Your Impact:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Assemble piping, mechanical parts, and electrical components for PCA systems following engineering drawings, blueprints, and detailed instructions
  • Perform brazing and plumbing tasks to connect HVAC systems and copper assemblies
  • Set up and perform testing and troubleshooting of built PCA units
  • Verify work quality and make corrections based on schematics and procedures
  • Use basic hand tools, power tools, and test equipment as needed
  • Maintain documentation and complete work order entries in systems like ProPlanner
  • Support process improvements and training of new team members

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months or more of relevant experience OR high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Capable of performing brazing tasks or willing to complete company-provided certification training
  • Familiarity with basic measurement tools and safety procedures
  • May require the ability to obtain forklift or overhead crane certification depending on assignment

Standout Qualifications

  • HVAC Certification or prior experience with mechanical/electrical systems
  • Experience with ProPlanner or other production tracking systems
  • Associates Degree in Mechanics, Electro-Mechanics, or equivalent.
