Your Opportunity

RSGX is seeking experienced and motivated HV Test Technician / Engineers to join our team.

Based out of our Victorian office and working under an ETU EBA, this role involves carrying out HV Testing works across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria within various sectors of the electrical industry. This position is suited to qualified professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Secondary Injection Protection Testing
• Perform Primary Transformer and HV Switchgear Testing
• Perform HV Cable Testing
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Conduct fault finding and problem-solving in HV Protection systems
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work
• Adhere to all company and site-specific safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

You are a reliable and skilled professional who can take initiative, manage their workload effectively, and contribute positively to team outcomes. A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous
improvement is essential. In addition, your skills and experience will include:

• Advanced Diploma of ESI – Power Systems minimum
• Proven experience in HV testing and commissioning
• Experience working with various OEM protection relays
• Familiarity with VLF cable testing (advantageous)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety
