HPE’s human rights program advances human rights across the company and our value chain. We collaborate with colleagues and partners to develop and manage human rights due diligence consistent with our industry-leading Global Human Rights Policy Our due diligence includes identifying, assessing and working with partners to mitigate risks. We aim to not only reduce risk to individuals, but to have a positive impact on society.
The individual will support HPE’s human rights work. Responsibilities may be focused on addressing specific, persistent issues and/or implementing structural changes. This individual will also promote and maintain healthy and productive internal and external stakeholder relationships to further program objectives. The position requires both subject-matter expertise and strategic and tactical program leadership, demanding collaboration and management by influence.
The Human Rights Program Manager will be a member of the Global Social and Environmental Responsibility (Global SER) team within HPE’s Ethics & Compliance Office, part of the Office of Legal and Administrative Affairs, and will report to HPE’s Director, Global Human Rights.
Responsibilities will primarily focus on human rights in our own operations and downstream value chain, with opportunity to engage across all programs, advancing our overall data and metrics. Responsibilities may include:
