Summary

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is organized and engaged, ensures compliance with rules and regulations, values exemplary customer service, and is interested in working in a dynamic Human Resources (HR) environment where you will continually be challenged to grow your knowledge in the Human Resources field! This position serves as Human Resources Discipline Technician serving the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A strong understanding of confidentiality and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Active participation as a member of a team toward completion of goals.
  • A keen attention to detail.
