This position will serve as a Human Resources Technician for the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity Office of Human Resources (LEO OHR). LEO is a dynamic department that houses a variety of work areas focused on economic development, labor and unemployment insurance programs and equitable employment, training and prosperity for all Michigan citizens. The Human Resources Office strives to align with the values of LEO while providing traditional HR services to its workforce.

A successful candidate for this position will:

  • Have experience with payroll processing.
  • Have the desire to provide excellent service to LEO employees.
  • Be able to follow job aids and proactively seek out information.
  • Be organized, with the ability to self-prioritize.
  • Be reliable and adaptable.
  • Have experience with State of Michigan HR programs.
