Quality Brands Distribution|Human Resources Specialist|Benefits|$22.00 - $25.00 an hour|$1000 Sign-On Bonus|

Quality Brands is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support a wide range of day-to-day HR functions. This position plays an important role in keeping HR processes accurate, timely, and organized while providing strong support to employees, managers, and the Human Resources team.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding routine HR questions, policies, benefits, payroll, systems,

and processes.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Assist with employee changes, transfers, promotions, compensation updates, and other

employment-related transactions.

  • Respond to employee and manager requests in a professional, timely, and service-oriented manner.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Payroll & HR Systems:

Support payroll preparation and processing, including reviewing employee information, changes,

timekeeping data, deductions, and other payroll-related information.

  • Assist with identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain employee information within HR and payroll systems.
  • Support system updates, data entry, reporting, and ongoing data accuracy.
  • Assist employees and managers with HR system questions and access.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc HR reports as requested.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and work with the HR team to maintain accurate employee records.

Benefits Administration:

Support employee benefit enrollment, changes, qualifying life events, and benefit-related questions.

  • Assist employees with navigating benefit programs and enrollment systems.
  • Maintain benefit records and coordinate information with benefit providers as needed.
  • Support benefit audits, reconciliation, reporting, and annual enrollment activities.
  • Assist with communicating benefit information and deadlines to employees.

Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Coordinate HR components of the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Prepare new-hire documentation and ensure required information is completed accurately and on time.
  • Support I-9 completion, system enrollment, benefit information, payroll setup, and employee records.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding, including documentation, system updates, benefit notifications, and

other required processes.

  • Help create a consistent and positive employee experience from hire through separation.

Reporting, Audits & Compliance Support:

  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by gathering documentation and verifying information.
  • Support compliance-related recordkeeping and required HR documentation.
  • Monitor HR records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with maintaining organized electronic and physical HR files.

Administrative & Financial Support:

  • Process HR-related invoices and bills accurately and within required timelines.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation, coding, documentation, and communication with Finance/Accounting.
  • Maintain organized records related to HR expenses, benefits, vendors, and other department costs.
  • Support purchasing, scheduling, document preparation, and other administrative needs of the HR

department.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance,

or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, payroll, benefits, office administration, accounting support,

or a related function preferred.

  • Experience working with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or other business systems preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and the ability to learn new systems

quickly.

  • Experience working with reports, spreadsheets, data entry, reconciliation, or auditing is beneficial.
