Join our growing Human Resource Management (HRM) team and make a meaningful impact! This new role offers the opportunity to support multiple HRM functional areas while helping ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as college policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, monitoring critical reports and deadlines, conducting internal audits, preparing professional correspondence, and supporting a variety of HRM processes. This position is integral to the success of our HRM team, contributing to essential functions such as benefits administration, classification and compensation, employee relations, leave administration, records management, and providing overall service excellence.
Benefits Administration & Leave Support - Assist with ensuring compliance with all COBRA, ACA, and PEBA requirements. Perform internal audits and assist with coordination of supplemental benefits. Monitor receipt of temporary employment agreements and review/audit eLeave reports and tracking/calculation of state service dates. Review/track receipt of ADA telecommuting forms. Assist with scanning required benefits and leave documents.
Classification and Compensation - Assist with ensuring compliance, including documentation requirements, for all classification and compensation actions. Respond to entry-level inquiries and provide guidance, including required documentation, for classification and compensation actions. Scan required documents and perform reviews/audits of personnel/classification and compensation files as required.
Employee Relations - Account for receipt of Position Descriptions and assist with completing required updates in the Employee/Faculty Performance Management System. Assist with generating and reviewing required reports, to include notifying supervisors and managers regarding due dates for completion to ensure compliance. Assist with compiling and reviewing data for various Employee Relations reports and assist with responding to unemployment claims, to include scanning required documents.
Assist with processing of temporary employment agreements, scanning HR documents, New Hire Orientation, and monitoring completion of required My Professional Development (MyPDP) compliance modules, as needed.
A high school diploma and clerical or administrative experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
