About the Role

The Human Resources Services Lead is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for training the Human Resources (HR) Services team and ensuring all tasks are assigned and delivered in a timely manner, while helping support day-to-day on the ground supervision of the HR Services team members and serving as an escalation point for offices in Central Europe and UK as needed.This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating to support process documentation initiatives and assisting in developing standard operating procedures, including partnerships with other teams
• Helping support system adoption and change management as needed.
• Being comfortable as an in-office presence in accordance with the hybrid responsibilities of this role
• Performing all specialist HR Services activities for the department, ensuring deadlines are met and requests are actioned promptly
• Managing and responding to requests, acting as the first point of contact to provide HR information and advice regarding the Firm’s policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with the firm’s standard operating procedures and local legislative requirements
• Utilising the ServiceNow ticketing system to monitor all assigned service requests from open to close status, ensuring all service level agreements are met; escalating more complex queries appropriately within the department

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of HR functions
• Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
• Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus

And have:

• A degree, with a focus in a HR related field, preferably; HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Relevant HR experience, ideally in a professional or financial services environment
• Experience of shared services, preferably
