Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community (QPRC) is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Human Resources Recruiter to help us attract exceptional people who are passionate about providing services older adults in a faith-based community.

As our Recruiter, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization by identifying, recruiting, hiring and onboarding outstanding team members. You'll partner with leaders across the community to provide an exceptional candidate experience while supporting employee engagement and contributing to a workplace where people fell valued, appreciated and inspired to grow.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm: This is an onside position with flexibility in scheduling.

Compensation: $21.00/hour - $27.50/hour, dependent upon experience

What You'll Do
As the Human Resources Recruiter, you will:

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, extend offers and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through networking, social media, career fairs, community partnerships, educational institutions, employee referrals, and other networking opportunities.
  • Create and manage engaging recruitment marketing materials and job postings that showcase our culture, mission and career opportunities.
  • Manage the applicant tracking activities within our HRIS/ATS, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting and compliance throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate the pre-employment activities, including refence checks, background screenings, onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and new team member experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • As a member of the Human Resources team, you play an active role in creating and implementing meaningful engagement and appreciation programs and events that celebrate our team members and strengthen a culture where people feel respected, valued, and appreciated.

You'll Be Successful If You

  • Are passionate about helping people find meaningful careers.
  • Are an experienced recruiter with ability to be creative in finding and attracting qualified candidates-this is a must.
  • Are customer-service focused with a welcoming and positive and can-do attitude.
  • Are proficient in working with Microsoft Office Suite (a must) and recruiting platforms and social media (a huge plus)
  • Have strong interviewing, relationship-building, and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers.
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Have working knowledge of employment/hiring laws, including EEO and compliance requirements.
