The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $25.75. The full pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $40.40

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. Asa Human Resources Process Team Leader,notwo daysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:

  • Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.

  • Ensures every team member understands, is trained, and consistentlydelivers onTarget’s guest experience commitmentsand consistent operations.

  • Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments.

  • Reviews area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics toidentifyopportunities,takes action to improve, andaligns team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrates wins, drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience.

  • Lead anddemonstratea culture of executing all Target practices as outlined with team onboarding,learningand career growth; help close skill gaps through development,coachingand team interactions.

  • Support leaders in creating and prioritizing an environment of inclusivity where teams value diverse voices and approaches, are authentic and respectful, and createequitableexperiences

  • Promoteastrongtrainingculture, including compliance training, bysupportingthe planning,trackingandvalidatingthetraining for team members

  • With guidance fromstore leaders,implementa schedule that meets the needs ofbothguestsand team members

  • With guidance fromyour HRleader, plan recruitingand staffingefforts to help store leaders find and hirecandidateswith the right skills andexperiencestobest serve their guests.

  • Be approachable and available for the team, lead aculture where team members feelheardand issues are quickly resolved,andcollaborate withappropriate leaderstotake actionas needed

  • Deliver on allHRprocesses andprograms tomaximize team member engagement and minimize business disruptionallwhileguidingleaders tomakeinformed decisionsfor their teams

  • Delivera comprehensive orientation experiencefor new team members)to enable themto provideaservice andshopping experiencethe meetsthe needs of theguest

  • With guidance from your direct leader, execute the store staffing strategy and implement recruiting efforts to help store leaders find,hireand onboard candidates with the right skills and experiences for their team

  • Understand and reinforce store specific employment laws and policies

  • Provide support forstaffing systems,schedulingsystemsand pay practices

  • Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable tothoseexpectations

  • Understand financialobjectivesto maximizeprofitability and plan work to achieve area-specific and store goals

  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

  • Lead anddemonstratea safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors,identifyingand correcting hazards, holding team accountable to following safety expectations,assistingwith incident response, and reporting/investigating injuriestimelyand accurately.

  • Model theexecution of physical security processes in order toenhance the instore security culture.

  • Support merchandise protection strategies across thetotalstore;including ordering, storage and application as directed by best practices

  • If applicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes.

  • Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts based on storeneeds

  • Addressall store emergency and compliance needsincluding claims management and return-to-work program.

  • All other duties based on business needs

The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be aHuman Resources Process Team Leader,butthere are a few skills you should have from the get-go:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Previousexperience using automated scheduling, time keeping and workforce management applications preferred, but notrequired

  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis

  • Lead and hold others accountable

  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices andoperatehandheldscanners, andother technology equipment as directed.

  • Work independently and as part of a team

  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

  • Welcoming and helpful attitudetowards all guests and other team members

  • Effective communication skills

  • Accurately handle cash register operationsas needed

  • Frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds, withoutadditionalassistancefrom others

  • Climb up and down ladders as needed.

  • Flexiblework schedule (e.g.,nights,weekends,overnightsand holidays); reliable and prompt attendance necessary.
