The job holder will provide professional human resources services on payroll, benefits and taxation arrangement to assigned locations in Asia Pacific. He/she will handle the monthly payroll processing, administer employees’ changes and benefits to ensure all employee data accuracy in payroll and HR systems. In addition, he/she will act as the main point for payroll and benefits inquiries in the assigned locations.
What will you work on?
Ensure accurate and timely payroll and taxation processing while maximizing efficiencies and adhering to local regulation.
Review and prepare G/L journal entry reports.
Prepare and handle internal/ external audits requests.
Research and interpret payroll legislation and tax laws to ensure local compliance.
Work closely with HRBP on payroll and benefits related matters.
Administer employee benefits programs, e.g. insurance renewal, leave management, Employee Shares Purchase Plan (ESPP).
Liaise with external brokers/insurers to manage any changes in member movement or benefits coverage.
Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries on benefits.
Provide latest market intelligence, participate in salary surveys and other benefit review projects.
Handle and respond to requests from HR ticketing system in a timely manner.
Support day-to-day HR operations and administration, e.g. employee engagement initiatives, expenses claim.
Contribute to and participate in HR projects, e.g. system enhancement.
Perform and complete other additional projects, duties, and assignments as required and/or by request
What are your skills and experience?
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related disciplines
Minimum 3 years’ experience of payroll and benefits administration, experience in handling multiple countries is an advantage
Strong financial acumen and payroll knowledge preferred
Experience with Workday or other HRIS system
Well-versed in Employment Ordinance and HR related regulations of responsible location(s)
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Detail-minded, high level of accuracy, analytical and positive, with demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize high volume workload and meet strict deadlines
Self-motivated, service-oriented, responsible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
Absolute integrity and a high level of professionalism to handle the confidential aspects of the work involved
