Human Resources Manager

Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic business partner to site leadership, aligning people initiatives with operational goals to drive business performance. This role works closely with leaders to gain a deep understanding of the operation, workforce challenges, and business objectives, ensuring Human Resources and Operations are fully aligned in supporting employees and achieving organizational success.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on HR professional with strong business acumen, the ability to influence leaders at all levels, and a passion for creating a high‑performance culture centered on accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment

  • Serve as a strategic partner to site leadership, aligning HR strategies with operational goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the operation, workforce needs, and business objectives.
  • Ensure Human Resources and Operations are fully aligned in supporting employees and driving organizational success.

Employee Relations & Risk Mitigation

  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Support performance management efforts, including coaching and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Mitigate organizational risk through consistent application of policies and sound judgment.

Workforce Trends, Engagement & Retention

  • Partner with leadership to identify workforce trends and emerging issues.
  • Address employee concerns and develop solutions that enhance engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Support employee retention strategies and improve workforce stability in partnership with operational leaders.

Culture, Communication & Leadership Support

  • Play a critical role in fostering a positive and accountable workplace culture.
  • Build trust with employees and promote open, honest communication.
  • Support leadership development through coaching and feedback.
  • Help create an environment where both employees and the business can thrive.
