Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) currently seeks a Human Resources (HR) Manager to support the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) program in Huntsville, AL
This role will work with site leadership, division and functional HR teams to build tactical plans to enable the business in achieving site, program and enterprise objectives. The successful candidate will focus on strategic execution as well as integration of major business/programs and functions across the Huntsville site.
Position Responsibilities:
Implement strategic people priorities as well as develop holistic functional talent solutions customized to local, program, and division needs
Lead a team of amazing HR professionals responsible for collaborating with all HR teammates at the site
Partner with Site Business and Functional leaders for emerging staffing needs including recruiting, retention and employee movement across the site
Develop and implement a results-driven site culture plan
Lead integration and collaboration across the Huntsville site including culture, engagement, emergency preparedness plans, threat management and safety in partnership with the various functions and business units
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and functional HR partners to understand strategies to ensure alignment, reduce redundancy and achieve results across the business and site
Serve as liaison in conjunction with Boeing Global Engagement for external engagements, university recruiting efforts and local partnerships

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Human Resources
5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices, and processes
2+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership"
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years leading cross-functional and/or project teams
Experience managing and successfully leading HR strategy and process development and implementation across matrixes teams (and/or through geographically dispersed direct reports) in a large company
Experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships and proficiency in written and verbal communication
Experience building cross-functional relationships; connecting and advising at senior levels within the business, thoughtfully challenging leadership when necessary
Experience designing and implementing innovations within a collaborative environment
Experience attracting, managing, and developing a high performing team

pay range: $119,000 - $161,000
