Placed.au is a forward-thinking and innovative recruitment & workforce management firm operating from Thailand and Australia. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Manager to join our growing team in our brand-new open-plan office in MRT Phetchaburi (Rasa II).

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to manage core HR functions for both internal and outsourced staff, ensuring smooth operations and employee satisfaction. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about people and enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities:

HR and Employee Management

• Manage and oversee processes for onboarding, contracts, probation management, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, terminations, redundancies, and all other employment-related matters.

• Approve and monitor leave applications and maintain accurate attendance records through various software platforms.

• Maintain and update employee records and personnel files in compliance with data privacy standards.

• Create documents and provide support and guidance in relation to HR policies, labour laws, and employee relations.

• Conduct performance reviews and implement performance management plans for employees.

• Liaise with our clients and managers to provide regular updates on employee status, leave applications, performance, and other HR matters.

Compliance and Labour Law

• Ensure full compliance with Thai labour laws, company policies, and government regulations.

• Prepare and process statutory documents such as employment contracts, waivers, and other applicable documents.

• Process and investigate incident reports, including disciplinary cases, grievances, workplace conflicts and policy breaches.

• Create and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring employees are informed and aligned.

Conflict Resolution and Liaison

• Act as the first point of contact for workplace issues, disputes, and employee concerns.

• Liaise with clients if problems or conflicts arise with outsourced staff, ensuring professional handling and resolution.

• Coordinate with external stakeholders (such as; consultants, legal and government agencies) as needed to ensure efficient HR operations.

Training, Engagement, and Office Administration

• Create, support and coordinate training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.

• Drive employee engagement activities, including events, wellness programs, and retention initiatives.

• Oversee the management of outsourced staff, ensuring compliance with performance and legal standards.

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive tracking system to monitor employee status and performance milestones throughout their tenure

QualificationsAttributes:

• Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources, covering a broad range of HR functions; with at least 3 years of HR management experience.

• Strong knowledge of Thai labour laws, workplace compliance, and HR best practices.

• Must have a TOEIC score of 850 or above, or an equivalent score on another recognised English proficiency test.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

• Must be willing to work on-site at MRT Phetchaburi (Rasa II), 5 days a week, between 8 am to 5 pm.

• Must be a Thai citizen, work permit applications will not be considered.
