This position will support the strategic and operational objectives of the Human Resources Department. The selected candidate will work cooperatively and respectfully with staff, visitors, and volunteers to provide a positive applicant, onboarding, and ongoing employment experience.

Some of the position responsibilities include:
- Support the development and implementation of HR strategies that are aligned with business objectives.
- Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes to include pre-employment processing, reference checking, physical/drug screen, live scan, nursing license/certificate verification, new employee orientation scheduling, and payroll status changes for new employees.
- Administer and optimize the HRIS system.
- - Input new hires into the HRIS system.
- - Assists with tracking of HR metrics such as turnover, retention, and time to hire.
- - Serve as backup for running biweekly payroll.
- Maintains employee records in compliance with state and federal labor laws.

Qualifications
- Three to five years’ experience in human resources office environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of circumstances and make sound judgments.
- Strong HRIS knowledge required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Above average verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
