The HR Manager is responsible for leading the HR organization in Costa Rica, ensuring the HR strategy is aligned with the business priorities. This position ensures effective service delivery in the following areas: HR Operations, benefit administration, employee relations, training, performance management, talent management, organizational development, onboarding, policy implementation, recruiting/employment, affirmative action, social corporate responsibility, and employment law compliance. This role is a member of the Leadership Team.

HR Strategy & Leadership – Establishes robust personnel policies, procedures, and systems that support site and corporate goals. Translates business needs into HR strategies that enable growth in a fast-paced environment.
Talent Management – Oversees recruitment for all exempt, non-exempt, student, and temporary positions; conducts new hire orientations; builds an internal talent pipeline using the Talent Identification process; implements 70/20/10 career development plans; and creates tailored development plans for leaders, teams, and individuals.
Compensation & Benefits – Ensures local compensation programs align with corporate strategy and market benchmarks. Reviews and approves payroll reports to guarantee timely and accurate administration. Manages benefit programs, including communication, claims resolution, change reporting, invoice approvals, annual renewals, open enrollment, corporate wellness, and charitable initiatives.
Team Development & Coaching – Coaches and develops the HR team for long-term growth and retention. Provides manager training on performance management, recruiting, and employee relations.
Employee Engagement & Culture – Works with staff to implement strategies that positively impact key engagement indicators, fostering an environment where employees choose to stay, contribute, and grow. Supports employee recognition events and special programs.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement – Identifies and tracks HR KPIs to ensure alignment between HR and business priorities. Uses data to refine programs and drive results.
Employer Branding – Embeds Resonetics’ values and principles into all HR interactions and programs to strengthen employer brand and employee value proposition.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in an HR Representative or HR Generalist role, with prior experience as an HR Manager or HR Lead.
Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Demonstrated attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Proven ability to lead organizational change management initiatives.
Experience in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment.
