
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with daily administrative tasks, projects, and employee-focused initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to multiple areas of human resources, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records, compliance, and internal communication. The intern will work closely with HR staff to support business needs while gaining practical HR experience.
Assist with recruiting activities, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing paperwork and orientation materials
Help maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Respond to general HR inquiries and route questions to the appropriate team member
Assist with HR projects related to employee engagement, training, or process improvement
Support compliance efforts by organizing files and tracking required documentation
Help prepare internal communications and HR-related reports
Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the HR team
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Human Resources, Business, or related program
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience is a plus but not required
Willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment
Real-world HR experience in a professional workplace
Exposure to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance
Mentorship from experienced HR professionals
Development of transferable skills applicable to an HR career
