Job Description

PURPOSE:

This HR Intern will support the HR Business Partnering and People Operations teams by turning workforce data into strategic insights. This role focuses heavily on data manipulation, dashboard creation, and trend analysis. You will play a key role in measuring employee sentiment, tracking diversity equity & inclusion (DEI) metrics, and providing the data-driven foundations that shape our workplace culture and engagement strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

HR Analytics & Power BI Dashboarding

• ​Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated, interactive HR dashboards in Power BI to visualize key workforce metrics (e.g., headcount demographics, turnover trends, and retention rates).
• ​DEI Composition Tracking: Consolidate and analyze demographic data to track diversity, equity, and inclusion metrics, helping the HR team visualize representation across different business units and career levels.
• ​Data Hygiene & Infrastructure: Support the accurate maintenance, auditing, and cleaning of raw data within HR records and systems to ensure data integrity for all analytics and compliance reporting.

​Engagement Insights & Stakeholder Support

• ​Engagement Survey Analysis: Administer and analyze employee engagement, pulse, and onboarding/exit survey results. Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into clear trend reports.
• ​Data Storytelling: Collaborate with HR Business Partners to translate complex data sets into simple, visually compelling charts and presentation decks for line managers and business leadership.
• ​Ad-hoc Research & Insights: Support the wider HR team on ad-hoc analytics projects, deep-diving into specific data anomalies, and reviewing HR guidelines based on internal data benchmarks.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Human Resources (with an analytical focus), or a related field.
• ​Strong proficiency in Power BI (building data models, establishing relationships, and writing basic DAX) and Advanced MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
• ​Passion for data storytelling—the ability to look at a spreadsheet of survey responses or demographic data and spot the underlying narrative.
• ​High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential employee data.
• ​Strong attention to detail; you notice when numbers don't reconcile across systems.
