LOCATION Chili, NY

Provides support in functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to Total Rewards and Benefits, Recruitment and Retention, personnel records, and special projects. Works independently, receives minimal guidance, and is a resource for colleagues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Update all Job Descriptions to ensure they are on the accurate template with the correct language, revision date and consistent boiler plate.
  • Revamp our Shared Drive to ensure we manage what is updated and what will require us to remove. Example; outdated JDs that we no longer use in our business.
  • Maintains all necessary records and files for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Assures that all assigned projects adhere to accepted professional standards. Reviews progress with management.
  • Participates in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
  • Scanning employee documents into the HRIS system or electronic files.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, from a four-year college, preferably in Human Resources or Business Management.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as maneuvering through the internet. Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills. Successful interaction with many different departments and people in the facility. Maintains confidentiality of all information.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
