Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for an organized, customer service oriented, and cooperative individual to join the Human Resources team as a Human Resources Intern. In this role, you’ll be part of the team recruiting and hiring new employees who will build cutting edge products that are critical for the safe, reliable operation of power systems around the world. If you are a current student with the ability to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer at our Pullman, WA office, we encourage you to apply!

As a Human Resources Intern, a typical day might include the following:

• Reviewing job applications

• Calling candidates and scheduling interviews

• Scheduling and keeping detailed hiring documentation

This internship might be for you if you:

• Are a current student studying Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Business, or a related field.

• Love a fast paced and ever-changing environment.

• Enjoy working as a part of driven and committed team.

• Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

• Can learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

• Have background check results satisfactory to SEL.

• Have negative drug test result(s).

Location
This position is based in our Pullman, WA headquarters. You’ll enjoy Pullman if you enjoy vibrant college towns and abundant access to the pacific northwest’s world-class outdoor recreation areas while still having easy access to larger metro areas. Pullman is home to one of Washington State’s top school districts and enjoys beautiful 4 seasons.

Pay Range Data

($20.00 - $24.25 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
