Human Resource Internship
Purpose
HR Interns will work with leaders in our organization to gain a better understanding of human resources in the manufacturing environment. This position will teach you the ins and outs of our daily procedures and will give you a better understanding of how our organization runs. The internship will be start in the middle of May and end in August.
Position Responsibilities:
- Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors from multiple departments
- Support the team with various tasks and projects
- Staying on task and able to do repetitive work for extended periods of time.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Answering incoming calls and transferring them to their destination
Skills:
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Team player and results oriented
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use a computer to interpret information
- Being able to solve problems and offer suggestions for improvement
- Perform other duties as required by supervision.
General Requirements:
- Motivation – displays a positive attitude, offers helpful suggestions, works well under pressure and in a team environment, understands and supports customer mission and value statement.
- Attendance – attendance in line with company policy, reliable.
- Productivity – produces acceptable amount of work, completes projects in a timely manner.
- Must be prepared to sit or stand for majority of shift.
- Training – ensures required training classes are completed by the scheduled time.
- Safety – follow all guidelines, policies and procedures as related to safety requirements.
