YOUR ROLE

Are you passionate about HR systems, data and finding smarter ways of working?

We’re looking for an HR Systems and Data Specialist to join our HR team in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and take ownership of HR systems, data, reporting and continuous improvement across our UKIN structure.

This is a key role at the intersection of HR, Payroll, IT and external suppliers, where you’ll use your expertise to make sure our HR systems are effective, our data is accurate and our reporting provides the insight needed to support better decision-making.

You’ll be the go-to Subject Matter Expert for HR systems and data, while challenging existing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improving the experience for employees, managers and the wider HR team.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Ensuring the effective use, performance and optimisation of HR systems across UKIN, identifying opportunities to improve functionality, user experience and efficiency.
• Taking ownership of HR data quality, challenging data where necessary and managing HR metrics dashboards and reporting requirements, including MBR reporting where required.
• Managing statutory people reporting, including Gender Pay Gap and ONS reporting.
• Supporting HR system implementations, upgrades, releases and testing activities.
• Implementing auditing processes and supporting Global and Regional audits.
• Building strong relationships with HRIS and key Global stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase data visibility, enable self-service and enhance HR service delivery.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You’ll be naturally curious and enjoy understanding how systems and data can work better. You’ll be confident challenging existing processes, spotting opportunities for improvement and turning data into meaningful insight. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who can bring together people, systems and data to help deliver a more efficient and effective HR service across UKIN.

You’ll ideally have:

• A solid understanding of the priorities and constraints of an HR Shared Services team.
• Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels.
• Experience of implementing changes and delivering tangible results.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, with a strong eye for accuracy and data quality.
• Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting, including dashboard reporting and Power BI.
