Reports to the Classification & Compensation Supervisor in the HR Programs Section within the Human Resources Division serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Human Resources (HR) Core in PeopleSoft for the Texas Department of Transportation (department) by identifying, testing and implementing system configurations; maintaining system data integrity; coordinating data corrections in various systems; and serving as a point of contact for Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) and department and human resources personnel on systems functions, personnel actions, policies, procedures, rules, and laws. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
1 year of experience in HRIS Oracle PeopleSoft HR Core and/or Position Management support, analysis, maintenance, and/or testing experience with a state or local government entity (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent) Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
