About this role
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college/graduate student to join the North America Residential & Light Commercial Systems (NA RLCS) HR team for the summer of 2024.
The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
As a Human Resources intern, you will gain experience to include, but not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:
Support broader talent initiatives, including recruiting, training & development, and diversity/inclusion/engagement
Partner with senior HR and business leadership to lead initiatives that drive impactful business results
This role will allow exposure to salary, hourly, and union (where applicable) populations
Lead additional HR projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Organizational Psychology, or related fields
3.0 or higher GPA
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and prioritization skills
Creative problem solver
Self-driven and proactive
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
