Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Human Resources Generalist - I to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and perform Human Resources programs and processes in the areas of recruiting, Team Member relations, compensation, benefits, HR policies, and performance management in support of the staff at his/her assigned facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities

  • Provides overall HR support for the facility in all the functional areas of Human Resources.
  • Addresses general Team Member relations issues, as required, performing inquiries/investigations and facilitating timely resolution of the issues.
  • Processes paperwork for all the functional areas of HR in accordance with established procedures.
  • Partners with hiring managers to determine recruitment strategies for their hiring needs.
  • Participates in the onboarding process and new Team Member orientation.
  • Assists in benefit plan administration, including Annual Benefit Enrollment, and benefit related communication.
  • Ensures that leaves are documented in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

The salary range for this position is $50,200 - $68,800 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

Your Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline plus 0 - 2 years of experience in a Human Resources position OR
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline plus 4 years of experience in a Human Resources position.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
