Human Resources Generalist

Location: Clearwater, 33765 – This position is onsite

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly

Type: Direct hire

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Job description:

1. Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers regarding policies, benefits, attendance, leave, workplace concerns, and HR processes.
2. Support employee relations matters, including documenting concerns, assisting with investigations, and partnering with leadership on appropriate resolution and follow-up.
3. Coach and guide supervisors and managers on performance management, employee communication, attendance, corrective action, and consistent application of company policies.
4. Manage employee onboarding, including pre-employment requirements, I-9 verification, orientation, new-hire integration, and maintenance of accurate employee records.
5. Administer and support benefits, 401(k), leave programs, workers’ compensation, payroll-related processes, and other employee programs while coordinating with vendors as needed.
6. Maintain and analyze HR data within HRIS systems, including time and attendance, overtime, leaves, employee changes, benefits, and payroll information; conduct audits and resolve discrepancies.
7. Support recruiting, training, employee engagement, compliance initiatives, and process improvements while maintaining knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulatory requirements

Nice to have:

• SHRM or SPHR strongly preferred
• Manufacturing background

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in HR employee relations
• Must have experience with employee orientations
• Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Proficient in HRIS systems, payroll, employe benefit systems
• Must be MS Office proficient including PowerPoint and Excel
• Travel may be infrequently required
• Background check required
• Drug screening required
