Join our Transcom family as an HR Generalist!

As an HR Generalist, you will support the entire employee lifecycle and deliver exceptional HR service across assigned business units. Your core focus areas will include:

  • HR Service Delivery: Act as the go-to resource for employee and manager questions regarding policies, attendance, benefits, payroll, leave administration, and workplace concerns. Help ensure HR support and communications are accessible to employees working evening, overnight, weekend, and other nontraditional schedules.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management: Guide leaders through routine employee relations matters, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance improvement plans. Conduct objective workplace investigations. Identify recurring concerns or emerging trends and escalate them to the HR Business Partner or appropriate HR leader.
  • Policy and Process Administration: Maintain working knowledge of company HR policies, standard operating procedures, escalation protocols, and employee lifecycle processes. Provide employees and leaders with accurate guidance regarding established policies and procedures.
  • New Hire Orientation & Lifecycle Support: Deliver the HR portion of New Hire Orientation and support everything from 30-60-90-day integration activities for new hires, newly promoted leaders, transfers, and offboarding. Help ensure employees receive clear and timely information throughout key employment events.
  • Attendance, Leave, and Accommodation Support: Provide guidance and support for attendance expectations, leave processes, and workplace accommodations. Track required documentation, approvals, return-to-work information, and follow-up actions.
  • Culture & Engagement: Champion employee wellbeing, facilitate focus groups and listening sessions, and support action plans aimed at improving retention, attendance, and team morale. Support efforts to identify themes affecting new-hire and early-tenure retention, including employee feedback related to onboarding, training, scheduling, leadership support, and job expectations.
  • Compliance & Case Management: Maintain accurate, confidential records in our HR case-management systems, ensuring consistent application of company policies and legal compliance.
  • Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation Support: Support compensation, promotion, transfer, shift-differential, and incentive-related processes as assigned. Escalate potential pay discrepancies, benefit issues, or policy concerns to the appropriate subject-matter expert.
  • Operational & Workforce Support: Maintain awareness of the operational environment, including client programs, employee schedules, business hours, staffing challenges, and workforce needs. Help ensure HR support is accessible across shifts, teams, locations, and work arrangements.

Who You Are

  • Customer-Service Obsessed: You take ownership, communicate clearly, manage expectations, and always close the loop.
