Position: HR Generalist, 1 year contract
Employment Status: Full-Time Temporary, 1 year
Annual Salary: 60,000
Reporting to: Sr. Manager, HR Operations
Location: Mississauga, ON
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with two days per week in the office
Hours: 40 hours per week, including a one-hour unpaid lunch

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-focused HR Generalist to support HR operations and provide reliable coordination to the Head of Human Resources and the HR team.
This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong administrative and reporting skills, including hands-on experience with Dayforce; experience with1-year other HRIS is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day HR processes by coordinating routine requests, tracking follow-ups, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and organized manner.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Head of Human Resources,
• Support with the shared HR inbox by organizing requests, tracking follow-ups, responding to routine inquiries, and escalating sensitive or complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
• Support employees and supervisors with basic Dayforce navigation and document uploads.
• Support any training or HR sessions with scheduling, calendar invitations, attendance tracking, materials, and related follow-up.
• Support with HR trackers, and filing systems to ensure information is organized, accurate, and current.
• Support HR initiatives, committees, employee engagement activities, and departmental projects by assisting with logistics, communications, attendance lists, action items, and follow-up reporting.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum three to five years of experience in human resources, HR administration, HR operations coordination, or a similar HR support role.
• Must have experience with Dayforce administration, data entry, reporting, audits, employee records, and process coordination.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook calendar management, Teams, Excel trackers, shared document systems, and basic reporting tools.
• Strong administrative, organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage routine deadlines, competing priorities, and confidential information.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records, trackers, documents, and employee information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, confidential, service-oriented, and solutions-focused approach.
