We are currently searching for candidates for a Human Resources Generalist to support multiple divisions. Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting HR operations with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. This position ensures smooth execution of HR processes, serves as a resource for employees and managers, and maintains the integrity of HR systems and documentation. The Generalist will deliver professional-level Human Resources support across assigned business units and works closely with HR Leadership, HR Business Partners, and Operations Management.

This position will support the business leadership in multiple states, but is based out of Blytheville, AR.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary backup for Payroll processing and related duties, ensuring accurate and timely execution of all payroll-related activities.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries, delivering accurate interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Manage all aspects of new hire onboarding, including background investigations, I-9 verification, policy acknowledgements, and new hire communications.
  • Take initiative to establish rapport with HR Business Partners to understand business needs, workforce challenges, and operational priorities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners on process updates, trainings, and special projects.
  • Provide employee relations support by gathering information, documenting concerns, and escalating to HRBPs as appropriate.
  • Serve as the Leave Administrator for all leaves of absences, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Serve as the HRIS point of contact, ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and supporting system-related tasks.
  • Compile data, prepare summaries, and generate reports as directed to support HR decision-making and compliance audits.

Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent practical experience, and 2-4 years of Generalist experience.
  • Strong communication, project management, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates a high level of initiative
  • Strong HR systems skills, experience with SucccessFactors/Employee Central is a plus
