Job Location: Union City, CA (Corporate Office)

FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act): Non-Exempt, Temporary Part-Time

Reporting Structure: Senior HR Manager

Pay Range: $35.00 per hour

The Human Resources Coordinator provides part-time administrative support to the HR team and serves as a helpful point of contact for employees. This role supports employee records, onboarding documents, benefits administration, HRIS data entry, file maintenance, and employee inquiries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, service-minded, and able to handle confidential information with discretion. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, provide excellent customer service, maintain accurate records, and manage priorities effectively within a part-time schedule.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Responds to employee questions and requests in a timely, professional, and service-focused manner.

· Assists with onboarding documentation, including Forms I-9, employment forms, and new-hire electronic files.

· Maintains accurate employee records and files in accordance with company procedures and confidentiality standards.

· Supports benefits administration by helping answer basic employee questions, organizing documents, and coordinating with HR leadership as needed.

· Assists with termination paperwork, employee status changes, and other HR documentation.

· Performs HRIS data entry and helps ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.

· Prepares, scans, emails, files, and distributes HR documents and correspondence as requested.

· Processes incoming and outgoing HR mail and supports general office administrative needs.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent HR or administrative experience may be considered.

· Minimum of 1–2 years of related HR, administrative, or office support experience preferred.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and follow through within a part-time schedule.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; HRIS experience is a plus.

· Strong verbal, written, and email communication skills.

· High attention to detail and a proactive, self-starter approach.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; adjustable standing desks are provided.

· Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 15 pounds.

· Reliable attendance and punctuality are required for this key support position.

Employee Incentives:

· Employees that are with us for 6 months to 3 years = 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel

· Employees that are with us for 3 years to 5 years = 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel

· Employees that have been with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel

· MAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEK
