PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To facilitate the quality Talent Management (TM) process and ensure integration of all the applicable TM components in order to provide the company with the appropriate talent thereby enhancing productivity of all employees and offering return on investment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- National DiplomaDegreeBTech in HRM or related fields (NQF 6/7) is essential
- Honours degree in HR or related fields is essential
- Registered as a Psychometrist is desirable
- 4-6 years HR or related experience is essential
- Previous working experience in EE Transformation and/or Psychometry field is desirable
- Valid Medical Certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Effectively manages the PMS and rolling out the process to all the D-level employees by ensuring clear communication at the beginning of each performance cycle, updating of electronic KPI forms, resolving system queries, ensure timeous completion of KPIs, compiling of year-end assessment scores to Reward and effective reporting of progress thereof.
- Co-ordinates the succession planning process by advising HODs on the process and ensures that TMF meetings take place, succession readiness criteria completed, potential successors identified, provides performance data for Hypo grid and succession data analysed (e.g. readiness off EE and WIM candidates).
- Accurately generates new and reviews existing job profiles to ensure alignment to career paths & naming convention process.
- Assists with develop of relevant policies and procedures which support the Talent Management & HR function ensuring standardization of processes
- Correctly and timeously compiles monthly Talent Management reports, SLP Succession legislative report, assists with relevant talent data for drafting of board reports to support the departmental strategy or any ad hoc reports on request.
- Assists with departmental projects such as WIM, CGE etc. to ensure legislative compliance, as and when required.
- Ensures successful and clean audits by preparing, collating and providing all information required.
- Ensures that the all the job-related administration is correctly completed and up to date i.e. updating intranet, approval of adverts, signing off job profiles, career path translated into Visio format, updating retirees list, ordering of material, S-drive clean up, functional department etc.
- Effectively manages subordinates and ensures ongoing on-the-job coaching
