This position is located at the DBHDD, Central Office, 400 Otarre Parkway Cayce, SC 29033.

As the Human Resources Coordinator (BHDD Non-Clinical Recruiter), you will serve as a Non-Clinical Recruiter for the agency. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and hire highly qualified non-clinical employees for the agency. The position is responsible for building a sustainable talent pipeline, reducing time-to-fill for critical vacancies, and supporting workforce strategies for difficult-to-recruit non-clinical positions.

Responsibilities for the Human Resources Coordinator (BHDD Non-Clinical Recruiter)

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies for non-clinical positions across the agency. Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand workforce needs, position requirements, staffing challenges, and hard-to-fill classifications. Recommend innovative recruitment strategies to address non-clinical workforce shortages.
  • Develop recruitment plans for critical, high-volume, and geographically challenging positions and establishes talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated non-clinical vacancies. Monitor labor-market trends, compensation trends, candidate availability, and recruitment challenges.
  • Develop recruitment campaigns, materials, presentations, outreach communications and content designed to attract talent. Identify opportunities to strengthen the agency’s collaboration within professional communities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with government entities, universities and colleges, vocational schools and career ready centers, workforce boards, nonprofit organizations, and community groups to support BHDD recruiting initiatives and goals. Develop internships and early-career recruitment pipelines. Develop partnerships that support long-term workforce development.
  • Manage assigned requisitions from intake through candidate selection and offer acceptance. Ensure timely movement of candidates through the recruitment process. Monitor recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, applicant volume, offer acceptance, vacancy rates, and pipeline activity.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs as needed.
