Job Description
Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a motivated and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the employee experience from recruitment through onboarding while helping ensure compliance with healthcare and HR regulations. The HR coordinator will provide administrative and operational support for the Human Resources Department, serving as a primary coordinator for onboarding, orientation, recruitment, personnel records, and credentialing support activities. This position also plays a key role in organizational recruitment and workforce development initiatives through candidate sourcing, community outreach, recruitment marketing, educational partnerships, and talent pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage job postings across multiple recruitment platforms.
- Source candidates through professional networks, educational institutions, and community partnerships.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, facility tours, and recruitment events.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, workforce development events, and community outreach activities.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, and drug screens.
- Prepare onboarding materials.
- Facilitate new employee orientation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process.
- Maintain employee personnel files and records.
- Ensure compliance and completion of employment documents.
- Assist with employee status changes and benefits administration.
- Maintain credentialing and recredentialing files and databases.
- Monitor licenses, certifications, and credential expiration dates.
- Support HRSA site visits, audits, and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
- Experience: Two or more years of experience in Human Resources. Experience in a healthcare setting, medical practice, community health center, or FQHC preferred. Knowledge of HR processes, onboarding, employment documentation, and compliance practices.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
