Assists with recruiting and onboarding of employees. Assists with employee orientation and training. Reviews safety management implementation and assists with best practice delivery. Reviews and maintains employee records and ensures compliance with regulatory and Network standards. Serves as HR liaison and communication funnel between field and state offices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
• Sets up and maintains confidential, sensitive files and records, ensuring efficient retrieval of information.
• Ensures all necessary information is maintained in the employee personnel record. Distributes information to supervisor or others and files completed information.
• Provides copies of records as appropriate for employees when requested. Tracks files to assure that required documentation is received and compliant with agency standards.
◦ Recruits employees by posting employment ads on company website, external websites, in newspapers and through college career services in order to attract qualified applicants. Conducts and maintains file of background check results on applicants and performs registry and license verification checks.
• Coordinates new hire orientation and scheduling by working closely with the hiring manager, controller, and others as required. Ensures that proper new hire paperwork has been completed, including I9 documentation and certifications.
• Assists with paperwork required for job and salary changes, R&R bonuses and LOA. Assists with performance review process as needed.
◦ Assists with communications on open enrollment and responds to general questions from employees about pay and benefits. Refers questions to the Benefits Information Center as appropriate.
◦ Refers employee relations issues to HR Business Partner and keeps immediate supervisor informed as appropriate
◦ Complies with HR policies and practices, referring questions to immediate supervisor.
◦ Assists management in developing new databases for tracking and recording events/programs. Produces reports as needed.

Physical Requirements:
• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
