HR Coordinator:
The HR Coordinator provides essential coordination and administrative support for Talent Acquisition and broader Human Resources operations at both regional and enterprise levels. This role is responsible for supporting recruiting workflows, enhancing the candidate and new hire experience, and coordinating team member engagement initiatives, including culture-driven events and programs. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient HR processes while contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities:

Talent Acquisition Coordination:   
  • Post job openings, maintain ATS job accuracy, and manage job status updates.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, logistics, and candidate communications.
  • Coordinate and support recruiting outreach events, including campus recruiting, professional association events, and community-based hiring initiatives.
  • Maintain and manage the annual recruiting outreach schedule, ensuring alignment of event participation across campus, industry, and community channels.
  • Administer pre-employment processes including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Support the candidate experience through timely communication, offer letter coordination, and onboarding preparation.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, efficient recruiting process.
  • Track recruiting event participation and outcomes to support continuous improvement of outreach strategies.
Onboarding & HR Administration:
  • Coordinate pre-onboarding logistics, including IT/equipment set up and new hire readiness.
  • Schedule and support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Manage HR inbox inquiries and employment verification requests.
  • Review new Team members profiles for accuracy 
Culture, Engagement & Events:
  • Support team member engagement initiatives, including planning and execution of events, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
  • Assist with internal communications that promote company culture and enhance the team member experience.
  • Coordinate event logistics including registrations, vendor communication, materials preparation, and on-site support as needed.
  • Coordinate the ordering, inventory, and distribution of branded materials and promotional items to support recruiting and engagement activities.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to support regional and enterprise engagement efforts.
General HR Support:
  • Track and compile feedback from new hire and hiring manager surveys to support continuous improvement of the recruiting and onboarding experience.
  • Provide administrative support to HR Business Partners and HR Generalists.
  • Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and continuous process improvement efforts.
Education:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in talent acquisition coordination, or administrative support function required.  
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with SAGE HCM or other HCM Systems 
  • Experience in handling confidential information required.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Strong customer service and candidate experience mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; creativity in communications and events is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Professional, approachable, and confident demeanor. 
Physical and/or travel demands:  
  • Minimal local and regional travel for events and meetings.
  • Primarily office-based work (computer, phone, sitting).
  • Occasional lifting of light materials for events or office needs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support time-sensitive activities, including events.
Benefits and Compensation:
  • The range for this position has been established at $25 to $34 hourly and is U.S. Engineering’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. Compensation for this role includes a base salary complemented by commission opportunities based on the Account Manager’s individual sales performance and attainment of sales targets
