Job Description

At FutureCare our Human Resources Coordinator fosters and promote positive employee relations throughout the facility through the implementation of HR policies. The position reports directly to the Facility Executive Director.

Competitive Salary $55-60K

Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR functions of the department to include recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processing
  • Assist as needed with Guest Services front desk functions which include staffing and customer service
  • Maintain personnel files to with required employment data, health, benefits, disciplinary and health records
  • Interview applicants, conduct all pre-employment screenings, including but, not limited to – criminal background check, drug screens, reference checks as well as license and employment eligibility verifications
  • Complete offer letters for all facility positions and coordinate staff onboarding functions
  • Coordinates and assists with employee recruitment policy, including job posting on company website, resume and application review, as well as work with the corporate recruiter for ad placement and facility open houses
  • Supports department heads with payroll management and Smartlinx scheduling training
  • Assists in orientation for all new employees
  • Ensures that employees are informed regarding the employee benefit package and that the enrollment process is completed within the enrollment period
  • Coordinate employee recognition events
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Assist in the workers compensation process including reporting injuries and following up on injured employees
  • Attend required hearings for Unemployment and/or Workers Compensation
  • Abides by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan
  • Coordinate and maintain all accounts payable information as necessary
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ experience in payroll and human resources
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees and meet deadlines while working in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel are required
  • Experience with time clock and payroll systems such as Paylocity and Smartlinx preferred
